GLOBAL TECHNICS BV 2012 - 2015

MECHANICAL ENGINEER/STRESS ANALYST

This position involves analysis of aircraft structure and reporting with processing customer requests.

Achievements and Contributions

• Structure analysis: Part of a team of analysts in charge of creating a new set of interior monuments for the

Airbus aircraft. Specific tasks involve creating FEMs based on the designer’s preliminary design. Perform detail

stress analysis (via Patran/Nastran and hand calculations) to determine whether design is feasible and provide

recommendations when necessary. Generate and document the applied loading to interfacing structure using

Patran/Nastran. Create technical document (e.g. stress notes) in an effort to support drawings / parts release.

• Hard work: Executed complete analysis of single-aisle aircraft family panels collaborating and coordinating closely

with designers from the initial design stages to the final stress reports.

• Team Player in ESG project: Perform detail stress analysis on the wing box, window frame, lap/butt joint, skin

panel, cut out, floor, attachment angle, floor bullhead and skin at cargo door. Critical failure modes (e.g web

buckling, beam column, stability) were checked using Patran/Nastran and hand calculations.

• Reporting and producing Technical reports: Generate and present technical document (e.g. Stress Analysis

Report).

• Concessions: Perform detail analysis concessions in order to check if it will deviate from the approved design.

• Check and update of Technical reports: Propose a solution if any changes have to be made in a technical report.
