1973 - mid 1974: Section Engineer for "Services": Personel access to all areas of dam wall, precast yard installation and operation (production of 250 m3 of conrete in precast units per month), steel cutting and bending facility, carpenter workshop, provision of services to works areas (washing water, curing water, chilled water for cooling of concrete, electricity and compressed air). Provision and erection of all ancillary equipment, including reinforcement and steel fixing, special formwork, ladders, safety cages, pipes, valves to enable the works to carry on 24 hours per day and 6 days per week.
mid1974 to end 1976: Section Manager for Arch dam and ancillary structures.
mid1975 to end 1976:Technical Manager in addition to remaining Section Manager for the Arch dam. An assistant engineer reporting to me is added for the ancillary structures and two irrigation outlet valve houses. As technical manager I was responsible for planning the river diversion process. We succeeded in closing the last temporary opening on the exact day specified in the contract documents.
