The projects execute in Public Private Partnership (PPP) Model which is unique of kind in the country and use Communication Base Train Control system (CBTCS) Technology. Its Design & Build Contract Package of Track and Overhead Electric Traction System, I lead planning role of OHE.

 

Responsibility:

  • Preparation of detailed activity Baseline /construction program and taking approval of client for execution on time.
  • Resources, % weight loading and generating S-Curves Planned Vs Actual achieve for each systems.
  • Target & Achievement of sales, Vendor finalization, Subcontractor finalization, W.O release, monthly invoicing.    
  • Evolving as Lead of planning team at Hyderabad Metro Rail project for Track & Traction System
  • Responsibility of planning in-charge for the project worth 1000Cr which has been handled with appreciation from management and client
  • New planning Time chain-age adopted first time in L&T construction in linear project self-provided input for the same and vitally contributed for preparing the project Time line.
  • Management informative systems – Ensuring the sending of reports on time to consultant, client and higher management like daily progress, weekly progress, monthly progress, invoicing schedule/updating, project bar chart/updating, Procurement, safety records etc

Project description: Line 5&6 Train Control & Signalling Systems Project (BS02), Line 5 is built on 16 km in length with 16 Passenger Station and 1 Depot, The route will be an elevated steel rail mass transit system from Mundka to Kirti Nagar and Line 6 is built on 19.5km in length with 14 Passenger Station and 1 Depot, The rout will be a mixture of elevated, at grade and underground steel rail mass transit systems from Central Secretariat to Badarpur. This involves installation and commissioning of signalling equipments including Outdoor signalling equipments.

  • Coordinate with Engineering & Supply and Control & Monitoring of Installation, Testing & Commissioning activities.

Project Description: Signaling and Telecommunication Works comprising Design, Procurement, Installation, Testing and commissioning of all elements related to the signalling and telecommunication systems for the North-South Railway (NSR) Project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The total track length is approximately 2400 km. Joint Venture has the vision of introducing for the new railway network in Saudi Arabia, starting with this project in the new ERTMS platform. By implementation of this standard with ETCS technology for train control and safety together with GSM-R systems for communication, it will be the largest single ETCS Level 2 application in the world.

Job description:  Working as Planner –Signaling for NSR project, reports for work to the Planning Manager NSR (THALES Germany) and the Telecom Project Manager NSR (THALES Portugal).

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of schedule, monitoring and control of all the activities of Signal division of the project, the activities include Design, Purchase & Manufacturing, Installation works, Test & Commissioning.
  • Coordination with the Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Installation Managers at work sites, Engineering Manager and Progress updates and follow up of the schedule.

  •  Preparation of Schedules, include specific requirements regarding restraints & milestones and constraint.
  • Scheduling and Monitoring of work progress and measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques – S-curve & EVM.
  • Preparation and Submission of periodic reports - daily, weekly & monthly reports in line with client requirements.
  • Identify of any risk & factors leading to project extension and Timely notification of the same to the Engineer.
  • Preparing entitlement program for extension of time (EOT).
