I have over 25 years experience of planning of oil and gas, aluminium smelter, water treatment, power station & construction projects, through engineering, procurement and construction phases. I have held the position of Lead Planning Engineer for several projects. I have extensive knowledge and expertise in construction and commissioning planning of projects over a range of technologies. These include petrochemicals, refineries, power stations and aluminium smelters. I also have extensive experience of planning and execution of turnaround and shutdown activities on refinery, petrochemical and power generation plant.
I have good communication and interface skills that enable me to work with all levels of staff from senior management to the general (often multi national) workforce and consequently I consider myself to be an excellent team player and motivator. I am regarded as having leadership qualities, which are essential when delivering projects to clients on time and within budget. I am capable of managing teams of planning engineers, but also willing to fit into any team environment and contribute enthusiastically to achieve the project objectives.
I am considered to be both a self-starter and self-motivated. Actively engage in the promotion and participation of subordinates in HSE good practice.
I am willing to mobilize to overseas assignments and have experience working in various Middle East countries, including Iraq as well as Europe, Africa and Australia.
