Planning Engineer.
Duties & Responsibilities:-
* Planning & Setting time schedules (i.e. Programs) for site preparation, manpower load and mobilization, provisioning for tools and material and P.M.V, upon initial agreement on a new project.
* Determines the sources of information and uses a standard method and standard chart forms to minimize the possibility of omission and error.
* Evaluating available information especially drawings, work specifications, tender and estimation work sheets as per programs on satisfactory bases, especially labor force programming & Material planning.
* Providing the Project Manager with the plans, charts and programs for the Project, seeks his opinion and coordinates with him.
* Visiting the Project Site & carry out further detailed study and updating.
* Preparing Monthly Progress Reports with S-Curves showing Actual Verses Planned & Finding the variance in between them.
* Discussing about the Steps to be taken for achieving this progress in the next month with Project manager.
