OFFSHORE COST ENGINEER – Project Management Support, Cost Controlling and Project Accounting

     TOZZI Kazakhstan Llp / CMS – Caspian Marine Services Kazakhstan

     Offshore Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecom Hook Up Kashagan Project on D-Island - Kazakhstan.

     I am in charge on:

- Generating accurate, monthly cost man-hours reports for all project activities including, where applicable, both company and client commitments, accruals, actual expenditure to date and forecast final expenditures,

- Ensure agreed changes are recorded on a project change register and that applicable data is incorporated into monthly cost reports and forecasts,

- Provide expert advice where requested to validate expenditure including onshore / offshore man-hours actual costs ( including vendors and materials ) and onshore / offshore sub/contracts,

- Preparation of client change orders in case of additional works, supplies and service outside the contractual scope, then follow the cost development of all variations to the contract

- Allocation of hours/Cost's against Work Breakdown Structure,

- Preparation and maintenance of project cost control structures,

- Allocate costs to appropriate Cost Centers,

- Measure the difference between the forecast & budget concerning each budgetary item,

- Providing trends to project management ( reviews of expenditure against progress and latest estimates by activity, and assessing the impact of cost over or under-runs ),

- Providing accrual information to Project Control Manager in support of internal cost / value reporting activities,

- Attendance for Control Management in place. Attendance of the Applications used in the Department

- Participating in the study and analysis of new procedures and work methods,

- Actively participate in the cost departmental meetings.
