My role is to define the MS Project plan template and introduce programme wide planning standards.  Create Project plans and to merge them into an integrated programme plan including linking the inbound and outbound dependences together.



Maintain and monitor the project and programme plans



Monitoring the resource usage across the programme



Constantly checking the quality and accuracy of the project plans



Ensuring the promotion of best practice, implementation of Project controls, reporting standards, produce and document standard guide-lines for all portfolio management activities



Providing timely and accurate reports on project progress



Responsible for maintaining the Enterprise Programme Directorate (EPD) planning standards and implementing best practices for the ATLAS Consortium



Tracking progress against plan, including monitoring delivery against the baseline and challenging any variances



Worked directly with the Project Managers and the sub-contractors to establish the timelines, identify work products, detailed deliverables tasks and any resource issues.
