· Worked on several multi-complex contracts ranging from NEC, Design & Build, Public Private Initiative, etc covering social housing construction, New Build, commercial & facilities management contracts, highways civil construction schemes, re-construction works, Lighting & electrical schemes, general building refurbishment & repairs maintenance works.
· Set-up agreed work breakdown structure using MS Project, P3e & P6 for complete project life cycle from project initiation stages to close-out (commissioning) stages
· Provide support for Project Managers, Project Controller and site teams to implement a credible baseline for the full scope of work.
· Proactive visits to site on a weekly basis to objectively substantiate progress of works ensuring that issues with plans are resolved, all deviation from planned works are integrated into the overall project plans.
· Attended & led weekly site meeting with clients and other stakeholders (subcontractors inclusive) highlighting KPI’s, resolving issues arising on site, providing project tracking reports and challenging supplier progress claims & extension of times.
· Support/lead schedule development workshops and translate output into P6 schedule.
· Provided support to suppliers & subcontractors by integrating mini project plans/activities into the overall project plan prior to submission to the client for approval.
· Ensure suppliers submit schedules in accordance with NEC contract timeline by reviewing supplier’s submitted plan against planning standards and presenting a report to the Project Manager responsible advising on suitability of the supplier’s submitted.
· Set up fully resourced, baseline schedules that integrate cost and time
· Create and maintain an interface dependency process and register of all milestone definitions sheets.
· Produce accurate project schedules ensuring all Procurement, Commercial, Project Control, Risk Assessment and client target parameters are identified and planned accordingly.
· Tracked rate of Project performance by comparing actual work against planned works.
· Provided regular reports and feedback to management on project progress including resource and cost loading, earned valued forecasting & reporting.
· Performed Critical Path, PERT, cost and Float analysis.
· Interpreted technical drawings to site managers on-site including mechanical & electrical (M&E) drawings, structural drawings etc.
