I am a Project Interface Coordinator with a difference(*).
I have accumulated over 30 years a wide variety of experience across various industries, mainly Oil and Gas but including Water, Rail and Power industries. For the past 18 months I have been working in my own company on the development and marketing of a management service called Project Health Control (PHC), an innovative approach to the handling of projects and their interfaces.
A rounded summary of PHC sets out also my approach to Project Interface Control:
"It is essential for any management team to have a sound appreciation of what is 'going on' in the project. Vagueness or obscurity of information on work in progress and project issues can be a major cost to the Project. The difference(*) - I would be bringing to the project, my own powerful, proven methodology and tooling and can call upon some excellent references to support my promise of enthusiastic, high intensity application to the work and dedication to my part in the project's successful delivery.
On a personal note, I have a keen interest in the multicultural aspect of Project Interfaces. As an Interface Coordinator with relevant culture bridging skills, my value to the role in a geographically distributed, multicultural project environment would be enhanced significantly.
