In my capacity as the chairman of the Dutch Works Council (Nov 2001 to 2004 I had to communicate and negotiate with very senior management on all levels, validate and agree all policies and procedures. I was also a member of the European works Council and was their spokes person for 3 years, and therefore used to dealing within a multinational environment at top management level.
