Please find attached my current CV, I’ve been in the construction industry for 30 years and I have a lot of experience within civils, water, marine, oil & gas, petrochemical and renewables (bioethanol/windfarms), I have more than 10 years experience planning, with carrying out planning roles whilst being a planning engineer, senior planning engineer, senior construction engineer, construction site agent, construction planner/temp work designer, project engineer.
I am current working with Orsted, formerly Dong Energy, on the Walney Extension Offshore Windfarms project currently involved with the Onshore Substation, I have worked for Dong energy now since Jan 2013 mainly on the Onshore Substations of each project I have been on, I have the experience of working with the principal contractor on-site and the 3rd parties that are employed by Dong for the supply and installation of the HV equipment & cabling. I have experience on the installation, testing, commissioning & energisation of the onshore substations plus interfacing with the offshore part of the project because of the importance of backfeeding the offshore windfarm from the onshore substation.
I worked for SSE from Mar 2011 to Dec 2012 on the development, consent & offshore data on Offshore Windfarms.
Previous I was working for Simon Carves on the DOW LDPE project, on the Ensus Bioethanol Plant, Teeside, this was an EPC Project, I worked on this project for 3 years from very early on the design side in the offices in Cheadle Hulme, then on site in Teeside on the construction/commissioning side and now the plant is in production, I also worked as part of the Delay Analysis team with claims/counter claims with the sub-contractors that worked on the project in the offices in Cheadle Hulme.
I have been a senior planning engineer with both Costains & Simon Carves. I have experience with primavera P3.1, P5, P6.7 & Microsoft Project 2010. I have a lot of field & management experience within construction industry in civils, water, marine, oil & gas and petrochemical in which helps when planning due to understanding in depth what the construction of the project will take.
