Grant Rail, White City Project (Planning Engineer) (6 month Contract Position)                                                      

The White City Project:

The White City project is an £800M development of a new shopping centre near Shepherds Bush. The Grant Rail component (worth £8M) involved the building of a new train depot facility for London Underground beneath the shopping centre. The scope includes the installation of 16 new sidings, walkways and electrical switching equipment.

  • Using P3e/c project management and planning software.
  • Monitoring, updating and reporting on the detailed construction programme.
  • Daily site walks to inspect and record progress.
  • Preparing external (client) and internal (construction) programmes for issue.
  • Integrating design and delivery progress into the overall programme.

Providing project support for construction managers and site engineers.
