After several months as a freelance planner with Robertson, I was offered the position above. Reporting to the Managing Director, responsible for both Tender and Contract Planning for projects within our catchment. Projects vary in nature within the commercial, public health, and education markets, and are valued from £1M to £50M. Type of contracts worked upon range from PPP/PFI, design & build, traditional, negotiated, and partnered.  The tender works involve preparation of preliminary oncosts and planning submissions (logic-linked programme(s), programme risk, labour histograms, logistics, procurement, method statements and related graphic deliverables).

Project works include the setting up of the Master Contract Programme, coupled with an Information Required Schedule, Materials and Subcontractor Procurement Schedules, and the internal Target Construction Programme. For major projects, there is a regular visiting role which predominantly provides back-up to the site planning resource and regular independent checks of progress of the works.
