Working with the estimating team I am responsible for the development of tender programs in alignment with the cost estimate that reflect contractual obligations, client requirements, and FKG procedures. I have worked on tenders for projects ranging from $100,000 to $70m in value in a range of fields, including roadworks, oil & gas, CSG, bridgeworks, airports, and rail. My role also includes providing planning support to projects enabling me to see many projects through from tender phase to completion.
My responsibilities include:
- Development of tender programmes from the estimate, drawings, contract, specifications, and any other available information
- Reconciliation between the tender programme and the estimate for production rates, resources, and methodology.
- Provide support to project teams in the maintenance of their contract and target programmes as well as for analysis of extension of time claims and variations.
- Training and support as required for project and estimating staff in the development and maintenance of programmes and the use of Primavera P6.
