I am writing to you to apply for the role of Planning Engineer. I believe that my combination of skills in planning, scheduling, quantity survey and drafting would serve you well in this position.
I am a licensed Filipino civil engineer with 12 years of experience 8 of which is in project planning and scheduling in large-scale projects. In my previous assignments, I demonstrated good planning and scheduling skills thus, I’ve been tasked to give support and assist in other projects in the revision and submittal of baseline schedules. During the course of the project, I monitored the progress of the works and updated/maintained the schedule prior submission to the consultants. I also analyze and forecast current status against baseline and provide guidance and specialized assistance to others in the resolution of project control problems. In addition, my previous relevant experience includes quantity survey, AutoCAD drafting, and estimates. However, planning interests me more and am determined to continue and enhance my career in this field.
