I would like to take this opportunity to apply for the position of senior planning engineer. I can also be qualified for the position of lead planning engineer, planning manager or project controls manager.
I have a degree in Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a licensed mechanical engineer. I have more than 25 years of overseas experience in EPCM (engineering, procurement and construction management), construction and field supervision for oil and gas both onshore and offshore, petrochemical and manufacturing projects. I held senior supervisory and managerial positions in construction, project management and project controls in cost, planning and scheduling.
I worked in Saudi Arabia for 15 years in oil and gas (onshore and offshore) for Saudi ARAMCO projects and petrochemical projects during the detailed design engineering, procurement and during construction. I also worked in China for petrochemical projects and manufacturing projects, I also worked in Bangkok, Thailand for a gas project and in Houston, Texas for Shell oil and gas multi billion dollar project, the worlds deepest FPSO production platform in the Gulf of Mexico.
I am currently working here in Malaysia for a solar power panel manufacturing plant and will complete my contract assignment by Dec 15, 2010, the project is 96% now complete.
I will be available by early January 2011 or can arrange for an early mobilization should you require an early start date.
I am considering an offer in Doha, Qatar for a managerial position but I did not commit myself yet.
