Double Links

Vladimir.

While investigating some formulas to get Relationship Float [SLACK], Double Link Remaining and Elapsed Lag1 and Lag 2 values and other relationship values I found it might be convenient to show both lags as well as their calendars in the Succeeding Activities column.

http://www.austprojplan.com.au/relationship-float-and-viewing-in-primav…

Needless to say I am starting with time lags only, volume lag will follow and then some Double Link parameters.

Best Regards

Rafael

Activity status in Spider

E
Evgeny Z. 👤 Member for 18 years 4 months

Dear all,

I just noticed, that there is no such activity field as activity status in Spider. Such field is normally available in other tools.

E.g: In MS Project:

·         Complete

·         Future Task

·         On schedule

·         Late

 In Primavera

·         Not Started

Bulk Distribution Schedule and Logistics

I am creating a sample schedule for the Management of Bulk Deliveries. The model shall look for optimal re-assignment of all future deliveries when missed deliveries happen. The re-assignment shall consider all constraints and shall not depend on manual adjustments.

Compiling txt files in a sprj file

B
Becheru Dan 👤 Member for 9 years 6 months

Hello,

I'm currently developing a BIM type software and I would like to export the BOQ (with quantities, resources, etc.) in Spider.

It can be done very easily using .txt files and then imported in Spider but I was wondering if the .txt files can be compiled in a .sprj file so an user can simply open the exported data.

Thank you.

Time is Money

Time is money is the natural approach for managing any project.

For contractors project finish delay usually means an increase of project expenses, for owners/investors project finish delay means that profits will be get later and so some profit will be lost. The cost of time is different for different project participants and yes, for some of them it is not easy to calculate accurately the cost of delays.

DRAG display on Activity Window

Vladimir,

I am missing DRAG on the Calculated Data Tab, I believe it shall also be there as it is a very convenient view, frequently better than looking on a table with many columns. I believe it would be very convenient to disclose on the same line, next to DRAG value the calendar used.
