1) Purpose: The paper describes the results and solutions of method to quickly manage change during the FEL phases, prior to the development of the control budget.

Craig was the subject matter expert for the company with respect to capitalproject planning. He "wrote the book" for the company on implementation for a multi- billion US dollar portfolio of projects. He also managed the project controls efforts on several major projects, including being the point person for claims defense. He was highly productive, a valued team member and a leader of his teams.
Craig provided effective management and was able to ensure all the team members who were spread across several US states as well as overseas provided and delivered the work for the best practices that they had promised for the Best Practice Guide, which has now been developed.
Craig has always been one of the most knowledgeable Project Controls professionals I have ever worked with. His depth of knowledge in both cost and schedule management methodologies has meant that the projects we have worked on together have maintained consistently high control standards. His leadership has been key in bringing together resources from disparate sources and melding them into effective and productive project teams.
I believe that Craig is suitably qualified to be considered for the credential identified.
I’ve known and worked with Craig for over 14 years and from the first time I met him I realized he “got it”
In summary, Craig performed his role in a superb manner helping to deliver a demanding project on time and well within budget. He was able to transform the customer requirements into digestible pieces to his often young and inexperienced project controls staff. Through his leadership he was able to develop a well functioning team which assisted the project management team in delivering a critical project on time and within budget.
