Through my time working with Bill, he led the project delivery team, within Synthotech, for the TORS robot: an innovation project that was being developed for the replacement of in situ low pressure gas mains.   I found him to be a knowledgeable and diligent Project Manager.  He steered and directed the TORS project to achieve the schedule that had been developed, overcoming the programme challenges which are inevitable in any innovation and development project.
