Judgement Index - Value based people analysis and development.

We support organisations with recruitment, succession planning and development by assessing the value based judgement capacity of their people and teams. The Judgement Index is totally unique and one of the most scientific and logically based assessment instruments ever created. In June 2009 Judgement Index UK Ltd undertook a small study on behalf of the Major Project Association (MPA). The aim of the research was to identify, assess and measure common areas of value based judgement capacity exhibited by elite performers working within the Major Project environment.

Research Findings

The JI has numerous judgement areas (over 70) that it will measure in an individual and within the study there were a number of common factors of both strength of judgement and weaknesses found in the groups and occupational roles of those working within the field of projects and these have helped further develop specific reports that individuals and groups can now be benchmarked against.

Application of the JI within the Project Environment – Work Based Capability

Following on from the MPA research and work in a variety of other environments including Yale University Business School and Sandhurst, JI UK has taken the concept of clustering indicators and mapping them against Work Based Capability (WBC) Frameworks. JI UK now has critical information that includes which indicators are critical and that correlate to the best Project Leaders, Managers and Planners. There are also ‘cultural fit’ factors that can be programmed into reports that will support any culturally value based areas that a client would wish to look for in their people.
