Contractor - Civl Engineeering

Project Controls Global has opportunities for 3 planning engineers based in the Midlands of the UK working on site projects with a magnificent client.
Our client is a well-established contractor, constantly looking to grow with the right technical staff throughout the UK.
The Job:
- The successful Planning engineer will provide development, tendering and construction planning expertise for power distribution & ISS (integrated security solutions).
- Develop and implement efficient end to end processes, including critical path and total float analysis, earned value management techniques, and leading indicators for risk mitigation to ensure the successful delivery to time, and within allowances.
- Provide the Project Manager recommendations following month end analysis that assist key making timely decisions for corrective action.
- Advanced knowledge of P6 or equivalent planning tool
- Skilled capability to assess change and impact assessment on time risk allowance and forensic analysis & advanced understanding of the key NEC clauses for Planning and Early Warning.
- You will need to manage and interface with the UK Planning function, Capital Delivery Project Managers, Quantity Surveys, Project Accountants, Project Controls & Contractors Planner
Technical:
- Carried out client programme development for initial project phases
- Evaluated tender programmes for compliance to NEC clauses for Planning and Early Warning
- Experience in delivery of projects during construction during civils installation, preferably in high voltage electricity or gas transmission environments.
- You must have experience monitoring construction plans / programmes on infrastructure or Heavy Civil engineering schemes from 1st principles.
- Ideally familiar with Time /Location such as Tilos.
