Planning Engineers (delay / forensic)
We are currently looking to hire exceptional planners, ideally with some claims experience that are looking for international major projects experience in the Middle East. We are looking for people that are EU passport holders due to visa restrictions.

The general requirements are:
Qualifications:
- BSc. Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying;
- Memberships commensurate with the specialisation such as RICS, ICE, PMI or AACEI;
- Planning experience and strong skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access, as well as scheduling software such as Primavera P3,P6 and Microsoft Project;
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills;
- Flexibility & demonstrable creative problem solving skills;
- A history in a claims planning / scheduling type role is essential;
- Demonstrable ability of personally drafting and delivering construction delay analysis reports for construction contractors, solicitors and / or other clients from the determining of causality through to report writing in addition to basic program / schedule analysis;
- Demonstrable understanding of the various principles of delay analysis and an ability to communicate and utilize this in client facing situations;
- Strong interpersonal skills are required and an ability to work as a member of a team;
- Excellent written and spoken English skills are essential.
General Description of Role & Responsibilities:
- Development of works baseline programmes using Primavera P6;
- Development of master and construction schedules, liaison with works package contractors to ensure all programmes are consistent with the construction schedule;
- Demonstration of critical paths;
- Project based tasks to include fact-finding to detailed analysis, quantification of delay and damages, economic modeling, and strategy formation;
- Demonstration of entitlement to Extension of Time as a result of delay/ disruption/ loss of efficiency. Production rate analysis and work cycle analysis to demonstrate entitlement to Extension of Time, drafting of claim and negotiation strategies;
- Understanding of terms such as retrospective and prospective analysis for Extensions of Time, prolongation costs, disruption;
- To assist with dispute resolution and claims planning matters on multiple projects, including construction scheduling, delay and disruption analysis;
- Ability to travel around the world based in Doha.
