Senior Civil Planning Engineer - Saudi Arabia

Our client is a leading Western International Engineering & Construction Contractor with various programmes located throughout the Middle East and national offices in London and Worldwide. PMR has provided services to our client for over 25 years. Due to recent project awards we currently have an immediate opportunity SENIOR CIVIL PLANNING ENGINEERS to be based at various locations within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including Jeddah, Riyadh, Taif & Jizan. The projects are for the construction & design review for new Security Compounds which will include Buildings – Police Academy, Mosques, Conference Halls & offices, Civil Infrastructure - roads including interchanges, crossroads, retaining walls, pedestrian walkways etc. landscape /hardscape and related infrastructure. Project duration 36 months. Applicants should preferably hold a Civil Engineering BSc. Degree Qualification from a reputable university and be fluent in English, preferably as mother tongue, written and spoken, able to communicate easily, reading and writing technical reports. Candidates should have at least 10 years of previous experience working for Contractors for the Construction of similar projects, a good understanding of the construction process and experience in large building and civil engineering projects as Site and Planning Engineers, preferably in the Middle East. Also should have • Excellent knowledge of PRIMAVERA PROJECT PLANNER version P6/P8. • Understanding of database management system (DBMS) such as ACCESS, PARADOX, POWERBUILDER • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (EXCEL & WORD) • Understanding of COST CODE system.
