Planning Engineer / Project Planner - Rail Signalling Projects - North England
The Company:
Our client is a major engineering compay, active across the world throughout the infrastructure and construction markets.
The Opportunity:
The company has been engaged by Network Rail to deliver a programme of works to civils assets in the North West. Expansion plans and restructuring mean that they are now looking to recruit a Project Planner. Joining an established Project team, you will use Primavera P6 to update and report on the project plan, ensuring that it is an accurate and up-to-date reflection of actual progress. You’ll need to combine software-based skills to manipulate, analyse and report on data, alongside a thorough understanding of how projects are put together at ground level.
It’s an important position, and you’ll have a critical impact on the company’s ongoing success.
You will need:
- have a background in UK main contracting, consultancy or client-side environments;
- good understanding and experience of rail sector projects projects;
- be able to demonstrate experience of projects in excess of £20m;
- be able to use Primavera P6 or related software
Reward:
£55k - £65k basic salary + plus competitive corporate benefits.
