Due to an increasing workload in the US we are currently seeking senior construction professionals to join our US team. For the right candidate this is an excellent opportunity to work on very high value, prestigious projects in a challenging and rewarding sector.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the US Director in delivering a range of scheduling and consultancy services on a range of US based commercial insurance claims
- Forensically examine construction schedules and critical paths to confirm construction status relative to baseline schedule
- Analyze the impacts of changes and delay to schedules
- Analyze drawings, specifications, photographs, meeting minutes and daily reports
- Visit construction sites to attend site meetings and monitor construction progress
- Maintain communications with client and manage interchange of information between the project and CCi
- Assist in writing reports based on results of analysis for submission to client
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline
- 10 years’ experience in petrochemical, power generation, mining, energy or oil & gas industries
- Experience in the use of project schedules and project management software
- Strong analytical technique and report writing skills
- Personable approach and able to build relationships with clients, contractors and other construction professionals
- Ability to work independently and on own initiative
Location
This is a permanent position working out of the Houston office but will require some remote working at client sites for 2-3 days at a time and possible short overseas trips.
