Our clients skills lie in the expansive area of infrastructure – the wiring of society – encompassing buildings; land, sea, and air transport; information communications and security systems; and utilities (including energy and water); as well as in their experience of working for a broad range of clients, including national and local governments as well as the commercial sector.
This opportunity is for a high-calibreindividual to join our clients West Kowloon Cultural District Project.
The successful Planning & Controls Manager will be responsible for:
- Coordination with project stakeholders,i ncluding Other Consultants and Works Contractors in the collation and development and maintenance of Project Programme;
- Management of stakeholder programmes and time
- Setup systems necessary for efficient program, time management and reporting.
- Monitoring, control and reporting on project time, earned value physical progress, KPIs and forecast.
- Quantification of delays, mitigation programmes, “what-if” scenarios.
- Adoptand use the PIMS by the Authority for document control.]
- Manage document control.
- Liaise with the Authority and Other Consultant in obtaining necessary information to establish documents and deliverable register through bulk upload feature of the PIMS.
- Provide input to time component of Building Information Modelling (BIM), should 4D modelling be required.
- Development of Initial and Project Programmes.
- Collation of progress information.
- Program updates and revisions.
- Preparation of reports, such as time variances, histograms, “S”curves, KPI updates and alike;
Job Requirements:
- a recognized university degree in Construction, Building or Civil engineering with post-graduate qualification in Project Management or other professional membership such as MHKIE, MICE, MCIOB of relevant institution;
- a minimum of 12 years’ planning and programming experience in field of design and construction management in roles on consultant andc ontractor side, at least 8 years on-site planning experiences;
- excellent skills in programming, controlling and monitoring multidisciplinary design and construction projects, producing significant design and pre-construction deliverables, project controlling tools and progress reports;
- excellent knowledge and experience in sensitivity analysis, scenario studies and impact analysis;
- familiar with government submission procedures, experience in assessing the potential risk or delay and time implication during the project lifecycle;
- good understanding of Oracle Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management software;
