A new position has just been created with our client, an international consultancy. They are a well-known brand within the sector, and known as an employer of choice. New contract awards and infrastructure renewal programmes mean they are now looking to recruit into their planning team. Based out of their office in the Central Belt area of Scotland, you will work as part of a team to produce plans from projects at tender stage, and then develop and update these as the projects move through construction and commissioning. The projects involve power transmission, SCADA and substations sytems. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their planning career, or bring their skills to bear in a new organisation.
To be considered, you must meet the following criteria:
- fully trained in Primavera P6 (v. 8.2 or above)
- ability to work to deadlines and as part of a team.
A background in the UK power sector (transmission & distribution projects) would be an advantage, but is not essential.
Rate will be in the range of £300 - £375 per day.
