A great new opportunity has just been created with our client, a major engineering company in the South West of England. Recent new business wins plus with a strong pipeline of future work means that they are now looking for a Senior Project Planner to join the team. Reporting to the Planning Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering multi-disciplinary programmes for nuclear power projects across the project lifecycle, with an emphasis on cost and time efficiency. The programmes will incorporate aspects of process engineering, civils, M&E and commissioning services You’ll also be responsible for identifying and managing schedule risks, and acting as a mentor to more junior planning staff.

In order to be considered for the role, you must meet the following criteria:
- strong track record of planning projects in the UK power gen and / or nuclear sector (defence or civilian);
- experience of using Primavera and MS Project;
- excellent organisational skills;
- the ability to motivate others towards a common goal.
In return, you’ll be rewarded with a salary in the range of £45k - £55k + private medical insurance + flexible benefits package. Our client is also open to engaging the right person on a freelance basis.
