Planning Manager

An international main contracting company has recently been awarded one of the largest civil infrastructure projects. A heavyweight Planning Manager is required urgently. Planning Manager – job description:- You will be managing a team of planning engineers to ensure the overall progress of work from pre-construction stage to completion is efficient and smooth. - Handle the master programme and implement new strategies to keep project within budget, timing and in accordance to safety regulations.- Time management, delay analysis, claims support and change management throughout the entire process of construction. - Liaise with project team, consultants, client and suppliers/vendors to ensure all aspects of projects are coordinated and executed within schedule and with appropriate methods.  Planning Manager – requirements:- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or equivalent.- MUST have experience with heavy civil engineering projects, ideally roads/bridges/highways/rail etc.- Must be proficient in the use of Primavera 6 and generally computer savvy. - Experience in the contractor’s field of work is essential. However, a diverse background in construction companies is also encouraged. - Fluent in written and spoken English.  Company Overview:The main contractor company is a well established outfit in Hong Kong and has many different branches worldwide.
