Planning Engineer - Major Highways Project - London, UK (ref TB244)

We have just been engaged by a well-regarded management consultancy, a company which operates UK-wide across a range of infrastructure sectors and projects.  A major new commission means they are now looking to recruit a Planning Engineer based in East London / Kent.  Joining an established Project team,  you will act on behalf of their client to produce robust and deliverable construction schedules.   You’ll need to combine software-based skills to manipulate, analyse and report on data, alongside a thorough understanding of how projects are put together at ground level.



You will also be responsible for training and mentoring junior staff to ensure the long term success of the department.



It’s an important position, and you’ll have a critical impact on the company’s ongoing success.  To be considered, you MUST:



-  have a background in UK main contracting, consultancy or client-side environments for the roads & highways sector;

- be able to demonstrate experience of projects in excess of £20m;

- have knowledge of EVA techniques and reporting;

- be able to use Primavera P6 or related software



The role is offered on a contract basis at c. £300 - £350 a day
