Assistant Planner or Intermediate Planner – Construction - Surrey
A national main contractor with a long history for delivering specialist construction services to their clients up and down the country are currently seeking an Assistant Planner or an Intermediate Planning Engineer for their southern operations.
The candidate will be based in Surrey and join a team of construction planners that are responsible for the full life cycle of a range of new build, refurbishment and fit out contracts that are located within the M25. The Planner will be involved on projects at tender and contract stages, sharing their time between the office and live sites. One of the projects they will immediately inherit is a 17 storey residential tower block valued at £20m and the extent of their duties on the project will be dependent upon their experience.
Candidate
· Degree or equivalent in construction
· Previous site experience which could be gained as a planner, site manager or project manager.
· Minimum of 2 years planning experience.
· Working knowledge of planning software packages; MS Project or Asta Powerproject
· Tender planning experience is desirable but not essential.
· Strong communication skills.
My client is offering a negotiable basic salary of up to £35,000 - £47,000 dependent upon experience plus an attractive benefits package that includes a company car or car allowance, pension, healthcare, life assurance, flexible benefits scheme and opportunities for career development.
