Planner/Planning Engineer (civils) – Permanent – London – Primavera P6 – Salary £30,000 - £44,000 + package.
This role is with a leading UK main contractor and has arisen due to a high increase in workload on a £250 + million project based in London. The position will have a focus mainly on site planning using Primavera P6 with some involvement with tender planning. The project itself focuses on the design, construction and commissioning of 2 large cable tunnels coupled with more minor works on electricity substations, tunnel enlargements and temporary shafts.
Duties of the role:
· Maintain as-built programme
· Assist with risk assessments
· Use of Primavera P6 software
· Progress reporting, preparation
· Develop and maintain P6 programme
· Offer planning and contract advice on tenders
· Client and sub-contractor liaison and reporting
· Earned Value Management/Analysis
Applicants must hold the following:
· Relevant degree/qualification or masters
· Civil Engineering experience with a main contractor
· UK main contractor experience is essential
· A minimum of 3 years planning experience (civils)
· Will have site and tender planning experience
· Will be competent users of Primavera P6 software
· Site experience as a Project Manager or Site Manager is desired but not essential
· Tunnelling experience is desired but not essential. Civils experience is essential
· Applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK and are expected to hold a full UK driving licence.
