Planning Engineer or Senior Planner – Cheshire
A Planning Engineer at either intermediate or senior level is currently required by a leading Main Contractor to join their operations in the North West. The post will see the Planner be responsible for the full life cycle of projects from tender through to completion on projects valued up to £40m. Their business provides a wide range of construction solutions to both public and private clients delivering projects that include commercial, education, residential, retail, health and leisure.
Their business in the North West is in the need to reinforce their planning team due to business growth and recent project wins. The Planning Engineer will need to have a demonstrable track record in a similar role and they will have derived from a main contractor.
Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience to be considered for this opportunity.
· Minimum of 5 years planning experience.
· Strong knowledge of construction techniques.
· Engineering qualification.
· Good working knowledge of Asta Powerproject.
· Previous experience of working within a Main Contractors Tendering office.
· Knowledge of Prelimaries, Design Management, Bid Management and Project Management is desirable but not essential.
On offer is a basic salary of between £35-50,000 per annum dependent upon experience plus a main contractors benefits package which comprises of a company car or car allowance circa £5,000 pa, pension, life assurance, healthcare, flexible benefits scheme and genuine career opportunities.
