Logmor Projects International Limited is searching for a senior Planning & Controls Consultant for client side consulting based on site in Ireland.
***Contract / Freelance, long term contract offering excellent Euro’s per day***
You will be working within a versatile & skilled project office in West Ireland. Our client is a project management consultancy recognised as a market leader offering programme management, consulting, operations & project delivery solutions seamlessly through the aforementioned services.
The successful lead planning consultant will offer the client a full planning & project controls functionality offering the ability to take raw data and interpret into a fully usable programme in Primavera, also you have the proven ability to identify issues early before they become major issues.
You will have 12years+ experience ideally within the Process Industry also with Gas testing experience if possible.
The Planning & Controls consultant will be responsible for the preparation of project plans, schedule, estimates and budgetary information. He/she is responsible for all project cost planning activities from Design through Construction and Commissioning and handover to operations. The Planning & Controls Consultant will proactively monitor progress against the budget and schedule and provide management reports to the Project team and Project Services Manager including Latest Forecast information to the project accountant. He/she will also assist in the development of procurement and contracting strategies.
The role requires close working with the team’s discipline engineers and counterparts in the Contractors organisations. It also requires a confident communicator, both internally and externally. The Planning & Controls consultant will represent the Project at various third party forums, including co-venturer and contractor meetings (if required). He/she will enhance “The clients” position in technical discussion through their professionalism and technical understanding.
