URGENT - Freelance Planner – Highways/Civils – Derbyshire – Ms Project – 4-12 week contract – Gold Group Ltd
Leading main contractor, looking for a freelance planning engineer to work on a variety of tenders worth £3million - £8million out of offices in Derbyshire. This role has arisen due to a high increase in workload. Other tenders include water works, pipelines, bridges and water works. This contractor is looking for a freelance planner who lives within a 1.5 hour commute to build a long standing relationship with. Depending on how things go with this contract the client has a bulk of other works to potentially move onto.
Candidate spec:
- Must have a heavy civil engineering background and preferably a degree or relevant qualification
- Strong site experience with a leading UK main contractor environment
- A minimum of 5 years planning experience is essential and a strong tender planning background
- Software skills in Microsoft Project are essential, Primavera is an added bonus as is Asta Powerproject
- Programming, scheduling, site management skills essential
- Project Management experience desired but not essential
- Must be able to work well both as part of a team and on own initiative
- A full UK driving licence is essential and visa sponsorship is not being offered.
This role offers paid travel and a competitive rate of £300 - £400 per day depending on the level of applicants. Interviews are being held on Monday 15thand Tuesday 16thApril. Some home working will be on offer for the best candidates.
