URGENT CONTRACT JOB – Planning Engineer – 12 – 18 month contract – Microsoft Project – Up to £40 per hour – West Yorkshire

 

Leading international consultancy, looking for an experienced planner to work on a large commercial redevelopment project near Leeds.  This project offers a mixture of new build, refurbishment, cutting and carving and demolition.

 

This role will focus on:

 

  • Client liaison
  • Microsoft Project
  • Managing and updating plans
  • Take accountability for project schedule for whole site
  • Managing the performance and output of contractors
  • Assistance with the maintenance of master plan
  • Programming

 

The candidate:

 

  • Will have a minimum 5 years construction planning experience
  • Will be experienced in both tender and site based planning
  • Scheduling, programming, Microsoft Project, plan maintenance expertise
  • Background liaising with clients and reporting to them
  • A relevant degree, masters or qualification
  • Consultancy experience would be beneficial but not essential
  • Will have strong written and personal skills
  • The ability to work both on own initiative and as part of a team
  • IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications are essential
  • Must have a full UK driving licence
  • MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO LIVE AND WORK IN THE UK. CANDIDATES WHO ARE NOT CURRENTLY BASED IN THE UK WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED DUE TO ROLE URGENCY!
