X5 Planning Engineers – United Arab Emirates
Logmor Projects International Limited is searching for planning engineers No.5 for our client’s office based in the United Arab Emirates. This client is a worldwide success growing rapidly in the Middle East offering project management consultancy i.e. Planning, Controls & Claims management to name a few of this clients expertise globally.
The successful planning engineers will have be degree educated; a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, have a minimum of 8 years related experience including oil & gas, expertise in Primavera / MS Project/ Oracle, experience with ERP systems, familiarity with ASME and API industry standards, basic knowledge of construction and installation sequence and basic Knowledge of different form of contracts including EPC.
The Planning Engineers will be responsible for preparing planning and Scheduling and progress measurement procedures, developing and preparing the various elements of work or activity with weight percentage breakdown, initiate allocation man-hour effort to each activity, initiate scheduling of each activity and sequence of operation needed for Project performance, review and evaluate the schedule network, analyses and plan with various Department Sections, develop the construction Master Schedule (CMS) and established critical activities and floats also develop and prepare the progress “S” curve, manpower histogram, equipment usage, and materials schedule dates required on-site from new CMS.
Other duties will include progress and Monitoring Reports – Putting the plan into action, assess on-site work progress and update, establish and maintain good customer relationship, develop and prepare weekly and monthly report progress, overall progress, Progress breakdown, Update schedule & Weekly Planned Activities, material submittal, approved, resubmits, pending, purchased and not deliver on site and develop and prepare site productivity to improve the efficiency of site preparation.
The opportunity is for gas compression / refinery projects in Iraq and Pakistan. The successful planning engineers will be based in the client’s offices in the UAE with travel once a month to the project sites (Iraq or Pakistan). Being that this opportunity will be based in the UAE, these roles will not be classed as hardship postings….
*Salaries on offer are from $6,000 – $7,000 USD per month Maximum….You will also receive on top of the salary (Medical Insurance, Annual Leave Flights, Mobilisation/ Demobilisation Flights) You will need to arrange your own accommodation, however, our client will provide temporary accommodation for the first month.
