YOUR OPPORTUNITY:
Our Field Planner/Schedulers play a fundamental role in our growth strategy. Working on extremely high-budget and high-profile projects, you will take a hands-on role in schedule development, maintenance and monitoring activities to support project objectives:
• Supervise and provide technical direction for planning/scheduling activities of EPC contractors through proactive use of planning and scheduling resources while ensuring effective change management
• Play a key role in managing construction work on site and therefore require capacity and insight for directing construction activities
HOW WILL YOU MAKE YOUR MARK?
• Oversee the preparation and maintenance of the Project Schedule in P6 and various Area Coordination Schedules for the project
• Lead the monitoring, reviewing, and analysis of the schedule and status of our Contractors during all phases of the project, including the analysis of any schedule deviations and corrective actions
• Review contractor P6 schedules provided in Primavera and ensure contractor plans are realistic and achievable
• Analyze progress manpower and commodity information to support effective project management
• Assist in identifying the scope associated with schedule activities
• Report schedule deviations proactively on assigned tasks related to a discipline or specialty
• Takes lead in developing specific project codes of accounts and recommends appropriate modifications and revisions
• Understand various technical documents (w.r.t. quantity takeoffs etc. and activity sequencing) related to engineering and construction

QUALIFICATIONS:
•Typically 8+ years of related industry experience with an Engineering degree or other Technical designation
•Familiarity with and understanding of:
o Primavera P3, P6 and JD Edwards
o Working in an Oil and Gas, refinery or petrochemical environment
