Planner/Planning Engineer or Senior Planner, Permanent, Construction, Asta Powerproject, Hertfordshire, Salary to £52,000 + package – Gold Group Ltd.
Gold Group’s key main contractor client is working exclusively with us to recruit the services of an experienced Planner or Senior Planning Engineer to be based out of their offices in Hertfordshire. This top 10 main contractor is recruiting due to a high increase in workload, an internal promotion and a desire to grow the business. This particular team focuses on construction schemes that include schools, colleges, hotels and hospitals. The software of choice is Asta Powerproject and projects range in value up to £25million.
This position will offer a 50/50 split between tender and site planning thought this can be adjusted either way for the right individual. Sites will be within a reasonable commute of the Hertfordshire office. The other key focus of this role will be growing the team. There is also a need for a junior or intermediate planner and it will be this recruit’s job to help to hire, train and manage the junior, offering a great opportunity.
The candidate:
- Will hold a minimum of 5 years construction planning experience
- Will be a strong user of Asta Powerproject software
- The ability to work both as part of a team or on own initiative
- A mixture of site and tender planning experience and will happily do both where necessary
- Mentoring or management experience is desired but not essential
- Will be highly motivated, punctual, personable with strong written skills
- A full UK driving licence is essential and candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK
