The Planning & Scheduling Engineer is responsible for all scheduling and progress measurement of international, oil&gas- and petrochemical-projects; closely working with project manager, engineers, site, and clients. She/He will be supported by Technip’s procedures and tools.
Main duties:
- Create and update WBS and project plan based upon given standards
- Examine, analyse and approve all sub contractors’ / vendors’ planning and include into the plan - including assigned resources
- Update and monitor project schedule, physical progress and man hour, consumption
- Report progress and variances to the baseline
- Show alternatives for recovery if delays occurred
- Present planning to all stakeholders
- Improve and advance project and service management techniques and tools
Qualification and experience (Tools, Codes and Standards):
- Graduated, preferably in process-, mechanical- or civil engineering or comparable professional experience
- Some years of professional experience in project planning/scheduling EPC projects within oil&gas or chemical/petrochemical industry
- Planning of shut-downs
- Expert in network planning techniques and experienced in Primavera P6
- MS-Office
- Strong team player with good communication skills
Essential:
- Eligible to work in Germany
- Fluent in English
- German would be an asset
