The Planning & Scheduling Engineer is responsible for all scheduling and progress measurement of international, oil&gas- and petrochemical-projects; closely working with project manager, engineers, site, and clients. She/He will be supported by Technip’s procedures and tools.

Main duties:

  • Create and update WBS and project plan based upon given standards
  • Examine, analyse and approve all sub contractors’ / vendors’ planning and include into the plan - including assigned resources
  • Update and monitor project schedule, physical progress and man hour, consumption
  • Report progress and variances to the baseline
  • Show alternatives for recovery if delays occurred
  • Present planning to all stakeholders
  • Improve and advance project and service management techniques and tools

Qualification and experience (Tools, Codes and Standards):

  • Graduated, preferably in process-, mechanical- or civil engineering or comparable professional experience
  • Some years of professional experience in project planning/scheduling EPC projects within oil&gas or chemical/petrochemical industry
  • Planning of shut-downs
  • Expert in network planning techniques and experienced in Primavera P6
  • MS-Office
  • Strong team player with good communication skills

Essential:

  • Eligible to work in Germany
  • Fluent in English
  • German would be an asset
