Project Controller – Defence
A major defence organisation is currently seeking to appoint a Project Controller for an urgent requirement to join one of their specialist divisions based in West London. The Project Controller will report into the Programme Manager and be responsible for the coordination and control of various projects from initial proposal through to final delivery.
My client is forward thinking and they are always keen to promote from within and so they offer opportunities for career development from the outset. With this in mind the Project Controller will be offered an opportunity to develop their career into a fully accomplished Project Manager if desired.
Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate previous experience of controlling projects in a technical environment preferably within defence or similar engineering industry.
· Experience of managing schedules, cost & risk.
· Experienced in the use of MS Project planning software.
· Previous experience using EPM / ERP systems advantageous.
· SC Level Security Clearance is ESSENTIAL.
· Strong communication skills.
