My client is an International consultancy company with great strength in the market and a culture of developing their employees with genuine opportunities for career progression.
I am currently looking for experienced PROJECT PLANNERS for projects with a premier Power Generation client in the South West.
This commission involves working on strategically important projects which are high profile within the clients organisations. By the very nature of the projects you will be expected to deliver estimating activities/functions on site or in offices for the client and form part of a team approach to project delivery.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person with an experienced background in the Industry sector, which will ideally be in nuclear, petro-chemical, oil and gas or pharmaceutical
You will be expected to develop the existing project control systems and to incorporate best practice and procedures.
You must be able to demonstrate the following attributes :
- Hold a recognised diploma or degree or be qualified by experience.
- Be an expert all aspects of planning and scheduling in Primavera products including P6
- Experience of the Industry Sector, ideally pharmaceutical, nuclear or oil and gas.
- You must have a broad understanding of Risk Analysis.
- Able to both accept and delegate responsibility and influence and lead a team.
- Flexible to be office or site based according to the needs of the business and client.
- Effective client interface skills and experience with the ability to offer both strategic and project advice.
- Good report writing and presentation skills.
