Our Client is an international company with great strength and a culture of progression.
We are looking for SENIOR PLANNERS to support project teams across a range of nuclear sites in the UK. These positions cover work at various locations around the country, and could therefore be based from any of our network of offices or client sites.
This commission involves working on strategically important projects which are high profile within the clients organisations. By the very nature of the projects you will be expected to deliver estimating activities/functions on site or in our offices for the client and form part of a team approach to project delivery. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person with an experienced background in the Industry sector, which will ideally be in nuclear, petro-chemical, oil and gas or pharmaceutical
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop the existing project control systems of one of our major industrial clients to incorporate best practice and procedures.
Provide/implement high quality planning and scheduling standards and expertise to Project Managers on projects.
Ensure the implementation of the client’s project controls procedures on projects in the areas of planning, resourcing, progress measurement, earned value analysis, completion forecasting and status reporting.
Ensure integration of project control procedures into the project delivery process.
Provide expert advice including daily, weekly or monthly status updates.
Production of monthly planning reports, resource updates and projections.
Production of ad hoc reports informing the Project Manager of significant schedule impacts and their effect on progress and completion.
Prepare and manage regular planning and progress meetings including assigning actions and resolving issues.

ADDITIONAL:
You may be required to travel regularly as part of the role so a full driving licence is required.
