Senior Tender Planner, Construction – Cheshire

Senior Tender Planner is currently required to join a leading main contracting business based in Cheshire to help reinforce their planning capabilities within the tendering department. The Senior Planning Engineer will work closely with the pre-construction team and be responsible for producing competitive tenders for construction projects in the North West that range in value between £10-50m.

The Senior Planning Engineer will join an established team of four planning engineers and they will be primarily responsible for tender planning on a wide range of construction projects including healthcare, offices, industrial, student accommodation and education. Their requirement is due to busy workloads and an increase in activity within their catchment area which is the North West region.

Candidate Profile

·        Minimum 5 years tender planning experience

·        Previously worked within a main contractor’s tender office

·        Strong knowledge of construction techniques and similar project experience

·        Advanced user of Asta Project. MS Project experience an advantage.

·        Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

On offer is a basic salary of between £40-50,000 per annum plus a benefits package to include car or car allowance, pension, healthcare, travel allowance etc.
