A major rail and engineering Main Contractor is urgently seeking an experienced Project Planner to be based in Central London working on rail / London Underground schemes. This is an excellent time to join an internationally renowned Contractor.
Role and Responsibilities
The Project Planner will be responsible for producing, monitoring and maintaining rail project programmes for work packages utilising Primavera 6 (P6) planning tool.
Key duties include producing project programmes, annual work plans programmes, liaising with various teams and divisions including the finance team. Also, progress reporting and producing programme submissions.
You shall be proactive in seeking improvement of scheduling and planning processes to ensure project delivery with the ability to work independently.
Requirements
The Project Planner will need to demonstrate and possess the following:
* Degree / HND in relevant engineering discipline
* Background in rail engineering / London Underground preferred
* Primavera 6, MS Project, MS Packages
* Report writing skills
* Knowledge of NEC 2 Contract preferred
