A prestigious engineering and construction contractor have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Planner to join their team to work on a roads and highways based in the West Midlands. This is an excellent time to join this forward thinking organisation.
Role and Responsibilities
The Senior Planner will be an integral member of the planning team, taking the lead and managing the plans of the A453 Nottingham, West Midlands project. You will implement and manage the planning and programming of activities to meet the project objectives efficiently and within deadline.
As Lead Planner, you will liaise with variety of parties to include team members representing the client, local authority representatives, and internal engineering staff.
Requirements
The key criteria for the Senior Planner include the following;
* Proficient user of Primavera 6 / Asta tool
* Knowledge of NEC form of contract
* Understanding of Earned Value Analysis (EVA)
* Solid planning background with site engineering experience
* Roads and Highways project experience
* Strong communication and ability to influence engineers
Package
An excellent remuneration package will be offered to the successful Senior Planner to include salary £50,000-£55,000 dependent on experience, BMW company car, pension, healthcare and discretionary bonus.
