Planner or Assistant Planner or Junior Planner or Project Planner, Permanent, Redill, Major Contractor, Asta Powerproject, Building & Construction, Salary to £40,000 + package
Client:
Leading main contractor covering all sectors. This role is to work within an award winning South East construction planning team based out of an office in Redhill. Projects worked on range in value from £5 million to £70 million and include care homes, hospitals, schools, hotels and residential schemes.

The role:
- Planning Engineer or Junior/Assistant Planner
- Mix of projects up to £70 million in value
- Site and tender planning all around Surrey area Software in use includes Asta Powerproject and Microsoft Project
- Attend client meetings, management of client expectations and needs
- Working closely with project managers, estimators, pre-construction managers
The Candidate:
- Minimum of 2 years planning experience within the construction market
- A UK main contractor background is essential
- Tender and site planning experience using Asta Powerproject
- Good communication skills and the confidence to advise other members of the team of best practice
- Ideally a background in mentoring junior members of the team
- Longevity in CV, candidates should be looking for a long term opportunity where they can grow and develop
- A relevant degree or masters would be beneficial but not essential
