Project Controls Manager - Logmor Projects International Ltd
Logmor Projects International Limited is currently searching for a Lead Projects Controls Manager for our established PM Consultancy client based in London. The projects involved will be in Africa & Asia – Travel may be required.
This opportunity will require the Project Controls Manager to be responsible for the Programme Office to meet overall reporting requirements in a timely and accurate manner. You will also need to ensure that their strategies and standards are converted into day to day actions within the team.
The Project Controls Manager will be responsible to their Project Manager & establish properly constructed performance baselines at project and contract level also provide the range of techniques, methods and reports to keep the Project Manager fully appraised of current performance status and the likely outcomes based upon observed trends.
The Project Controls Manager will need to organise their team to support the project management team, ensuring that they have the reports they need to manage their internal resources, manage their suppliers. This will involve promoting the benefits of project controls across the project team and encouraging them to openly share accurate and timely information. The Project Controls manager willl need to manage a large team, ensuring they have clear roles and responsibilities and they can be held accountable to deliver agreed outputs also the successful candidate will need to be a strong leader to ensure that all the team observes required standards and approaches.
Our client would like to speak with Project Controls Managers that have had proven responsibilities in mining, nuclear, oil and gas or heavy engineering environments, including the management of multi- discipline projects teams, offering a broad skill set involved in establishing and running a project services function including building a team, developing organisational structures, designing work processes and implementing the project controls systems solution.
The successful candidate will be experienced in defining and implementing requirements across
the supply chain. They will be particularly adept at implementing effective
risk management and change control processes. To apply you will possess good understanding of functions and implementation issues with project controls systems and models such as Primavera, Prism, Ecosys, reporting Warehouse solutions and be familiar with using these in conjunction with
corporate ERP systems.
