Company/project: A top contractor working within airport frameworks has the need to strengthen their planning team and recruit a Project Planner.
Essential skills/experience: Due to an increase in workload a Senior Planner is required to join a busy team on a 12Month freelance basis,As Project Planner you will be employed within the project team heading up a major enabling works package within the airport, offering post contract planning expertise in line with the communication of contractual integrated baseline programmes and forecasts and updating the project design register on a weekly basis. You will produce monthly updated programmes, progress reports and revised forecasts and work closely with the post contract delivery team.
Role/duties: You will report into the Planning Manager for this project and manage large sections of the job autonomously and through the full construction process In addition to this you will be able to work with the pre construction tender team to offer planning support on the bid to secure the major contracts which run concurrently from the enabling works scheme.
Qualifications: Degree or similar technical qualification in construction or quantity surveying in addition to excellent IT skills.A strong working knowledge of Primavera P3 and P6 software, extensive experience in programme and project management, project planning.
