Intermediate / Senior Planning Engineer, Construction - Surrey
Planning Engineer that is of Intermediate or Senior level is currently required by a leading main contractor to join their Building & Air Division based in Surrey. Their need to recruit an additional Planning Engineer is due to recent project wins and having successfully been rewarded framework agreements consequently increasing their workloads.
The Planning Engineer will be responsible for a range of projects from £3m building and refurbishment schemes to high value airport projects valued up to £80m. Their involvement will be at both tender and contract stages and they will report directly into the divisions Planning Manager and the Project Managers on specific projects. The position will be split between the office and live sites in the region and so candidates must hold a valid driving license.
Candidate must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience to be considered for this opportunity.
· Ideally 5 years planning experience at both tender and contract stages.
· Good knowledge of construction techniques, sequences and be able to produce fully logic linked programmes.
· Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
· Experience in Asta Powerproject & Primavera P6 is essential. MS Project experience would be advantageous.
· Hold a valid driving license.
On offer is a basic salary of up to £55,000 plus a leading main contractor’s benefits package which includes car or car allowance, pension, healthcare, travel allowance etc.
